Biotek Pigments for Permanent Makeup and Microblading

Biotek pigments are professional permanent makeup and microblading pigments from Biotek, an Italian PMU brand. This collection covers the full Biotek pigment range available at Beauty Hunter: eyebrow pigments in inorganic cream and liquid formulas, a hybrid eyebrow pigment, eyebrow corrector pigments, eyelid pigments, lip pigments, skin pigments, and a pigment diluent. All products are suited to licensed PMU artists and microblading technicians who perform permanent makeup services professionally.

Biotek pigments are available in 7 ml and 15 ml formats. The 7 ml size is standard across the eyebrow, eyelid, lip, and skin pigment lines. Corrector pigments and the hybrid eyebrow pigment are available in 15 ml. The diluent is available in 7 ml.

Biotek Pigment Lines and Product Types

The Biotek range in this collection is organized by treatment area and formula type. Each line is designed for a specific PMU application.

  • Eyebrow pigments — inorganic cream formula — Venice, Milan, and Ibiza (7 ml each). Cream-consistency inorganic pigments for eyebrow PMU and microblading. The inorganic formula is a distinct formulation type from the liquid inorganic and hybrid lines.
  • Eyebrow pigments — inorganic liquid formula — Cosmopolitan and Martini (7 ml each). Liquid-consistency inorganic pigments for eyebrow PMU. The liquid formula has a different working consistency from the cream formula and may suit different application techniques or machine settings.
  • Eyebrow pigment — hybrid formula — Spritz (15 ml). A hybrid-formula eyebrow pigment in a larger 15 ml size. Hybrid pigments combine properties of organic and inorganic formulas.
  • Eyebrow corrector pigments — Ocra and Orange (15 ml each). Corrector pigments are used to neutralize unwanted undertones in existing eyebrow PMU — for example, to correct blue, gray, or green discoloration in healed brow tattoos before a color refresh or correction session. Ocra and Orange are warm-toned correctors suited to neutralizing cool undertones.
  • Eyelid pigments — Warm Black and Royal Black (7 ml each). Two black-toned pigments for eyeliner PMU, distinguished by their undertone: Warm Black has a warmer undertone; Royal Black has a cooler, deeper tone. Select based on the client's skin tone and the desired healed result.
  • Lip pigments — seventeen shades (7 ml each): Bordeaux, Fashion, Kelly, Flower, Daiquiri, Summer, Casino, Sexy, Dream, Rebel, Bite, Bubble, Parfum, Super Model, Lollipop, Love, Romantic. The lip pigment range covers deep berry and wine tones (Bordeaux, Rebel, Casino), medium pinks and roses (Fashion, Kelly, Flower, Love, Romantic, Lollipop), light and nude pinks (Daiquiri, Summer, Bubble, Parfum, Super Model), and coral tones (Sexy, Dream, Bite). The range is suited to lip blush, lip liner PMU, and full lip color services.
  • Skin pigments — Tan 1, Tan 2, Tan 3 (7 ml each). Skin-tone pigments for PMU applications involving skin-colored corrections, areola restoration, or scar camouflage. Tan 1, 2, and 3 represent a progression of skin tones from lighter to deeper.
  • Diluent — Biotek Diluent Pigment Solvent (7 ml). Used to dilute Biotek pigments to adjust consistency or reduce saturation. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for dilution ratios and compatibility.

The corrector pigments and skin pigments are functional products used for correction and camouflage work rather than primary color application. The diluent is a supporting product used alongside the pigments, not a standalone color.

How to Choose Biotek Pigments

Selecting the right Biotek pigment depends on the treatment area, the client's skin tone, the desired healed color, and the formula type suited to the technician's technique.

  • Treatment area — use eyebrow pigments for brow PMU and microblading; eyelid pigments for eyeliner PMU; lip pigments for lip blush, lip liner, and full lip color; skin pigments for skin-tone corrections and camouflage work.
  • Eyebrow formula type — the inorganic cream (Venice, Milan, Ibiza) and inorganic liquid (Cosmopolitan, Martini) formulas have different working consistencies suited to different machine settings and application techniques. The hybrid Spritz combines organic and inorganic properties. Select based on the technician's training and preferred working method.
  • Lip shade selection — deep berry and wine shades (Bordeaux, Rebel, Casino) suit clients who want a defined, saturated lip color. Medium pinks and roses suit natural lip blush results. Light and nude pinks suit clients with lighter natural lip color or who prefer a subtle enhancement. Coral tones suit warm-toned complexions. Always consider the client's natural lip color and how the pigment will heal on their specific skin tone.
  • Eyelid undertone — Warm Black suits clients with warmer skin tones or where a softer healed result is desired. Royal Black suits clients who prefer a deeper, cooler eyeliner result.
  • Correctors — Ocra and Orange correctors are used in correction sessions to neutralize cool undertones in healed brow PMU. Select based on the specific discoloration being corrected and follow the technician's color theory training.
  • Diluent — use the Biotek Diluent to adjust pigment consistency or saturation. Do not substitute with other diluents unless confirmed compatible by the manufacturer.

Pigment color selection for PMU requires consideration of the client's skin tone, undertone, and how the color will heal over time. Always perform a color consultation and, where appropriate, a patch test before the service.

How to Use Biotek Pigments

Biotek pigments are applied using a PMU machine or manual microblading tool, depending on the technique. Pigments are implanted into the superficial layers of the skin during the PMU procedure. The diluent is mixed with the pigment before application to adjust consistency — follow Biotek's instructions for the specific pigment and technique. Corrector pigments are applied in a separate correction session after the original PMU has healed. Skin pigments are used in the same way as color pigments but are selected to match the client's skin tone rather than to add color. Never mix Biotek pigments with pigments from other brands without verifying compatibility.

Professional Brands

This collection carries pigments exclusively from Biotek, an Italian professional PMU brand. Biotek's range in this collection spans four treatment areas — eyebrows, eyelids, lips, and skin — with distinct formula types within the eyebrow line (inorganic cream, inorganic liquid, and hybrid). The lip pigment line is the most extensive, covering seventeen shades from deep berry through nude and coral. Biotek also offers corrector pigments for PMU correction work and a dedicated diluent for adjusting pigment consistency.

Biotek is a professional PMU brand used by licensed permanent makeup artists. Products in this collection are intended for professional use by trained and licensed PMU technicians.

What Else Professionals May Need

PMU artists who use Biotek pigments in their practice typically also stock the following products and tools alongside them.

  • PMU machine and needles/cartridges — required for machine-applied PMU techniques; needle selection depends on the technique (liner, shading, microblading)
  • Topical anesthetic — applied before and during the PMU procedure for client comfort; available in the PMU accessories collection
  • Pigment rings and caps — for holding pigment during the procedure
  • Aftercare products — applied by the client after the PMU session to support the healing process; available in the PMU aftercare collection
  • Microblading tools — for manual microblading techniques; available in the Microblading collection
  • Color wheel and color theory reference — for planning pigment selection and correction work

PMU accessories, aftercare products, and microblading tools are available in the PMU collection at Beauty Hunter.
