LIK PMU Pigments

LIK PMU pigments are professional permanent makeup pigments formulated for eyebrow, lip, and eye area procedures. Produced by LIK Pigment, the line is designed for use by licensed PMU artists and covers the core application areas in permanent makeup work. • Eye area pigment — A single shade, 000 Maxx Black, formulated for the eye area. Available in 5 ml and 10 ml.
• Correctors — Three corrector shades (01, 02, 03) used in PMU correction procedures. Available in 5 ml and 10 ml.
• Diluent — A solvent for liquid pigments used to adjust consistency. Available in 10 ml.

How to Choose LIK Pigments

Selecting the right LIK pigment depends on the procedure, the client’s skin tone, and the desired healed result. Key considerations for PMU artists:

• Application area — Use eyebrow pigments for brow procedures, lip pigments for lip procedures, and the Maxx Black for eye area work. Do not substitute pigments across application areas unless supported by the manufacturer’s guidance.
• Shade selection for brows — The eyebrow range spans from Black Brown (701) to lighter, warmer tones such as Sand Brown (704) and Solar Brown (705). Shade selection depends on the client’s natural hair color, skin undertone, and the desired brow result.
• Shade selection for lips — The lip range covers a wide spectrum. Lighter nudes and pinks suit clients who want a natural enhancement. • Diluent use — The LIK diluent is used to thin pigment consistency where needed. Use only with LIK liquid pigments and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for dilution ratios.
• Bottle size — The 5 ml size suits artists building a shade palette or working with specialty shades infrequently. The 10 ml size is more practical for shades used regularly in a professional setting.

When building a working palette, a practical starting point is a core set of brow shades covering light, medium, and dark tones, alongside a selection of lip shades that covers the nude-to-rose range and at least one deeper option for clients who prefer more color.

How to Use LIK PMU Pigments

LIK pigments are applied using a PMU machine and needle cartridge appropriate for the procedure being performed. Eyebrow pigments are used in microblading-style machine work, powder brow, and combination brow techniques. Lip pigments are used in lip blush and full lip color procedures. The eye area pigment is used for eyeliner procedures.

Pigment consistency can be adjusted using the LIK diluent where needed. Correctors are applied in a separate correction session and require specific technique knowledge.
